ABOUT US

Our story begins in 2008 - where, after an inspirational dream, Sarah Castillo set out to create the perfect taqueria experience for a cult following of taco lovers, who would later be referred to as Taco Heads.

Sarah's mother, Tinie, quickly fell in love with this lofty dream. Tinie then dove into their multi-generational family recipes and helped Sarah create a limited, but delectable taco menu.

Taco Heads began its journey selling tacos out of a trailer in the West 7th area of Fort Worth. With the support of family, friends, and loyal customers the popularity of this late night taco stop grew.

That little taco trailer helped grow the company so much Sarah purchased a taco truck, becoming Fort Worth’s first successful Food Trucks.

The trailer and the taco truck then progressed into Sarah’s first brick and mortar location in 2016 in the Cultural District of Fort Worth. The location has been voted numerous times for best tacos in Fort Worth and also best patio.

Fast forward to late 2017 when Sarah brought on new partner, Christian Lehrmann. They became partners because their vision aligned for what they wanted to bring to the DFW food culture. Sarah felt Christian’s experience as a chef would be crucial in the growth of the brand.

With a brick and mortar restaurant, a catering fleet, and serving their award winning breakfast tacos to 15 different DFW coffee shops, the Taco Heads mission of Serving the Best Taco’s in North America is well on its way.
